Flying Kites partners with public primary schools in rural Kenya to provide children with access to trained teachers, clean water, school uniforms, school meals programs, and girls health education. Since 2015 I have been working as Flying Kites’ videographer, capturing their work on the ground in Njabini, Kenya. And in 2023, the organization and I embarked on an ambitious project together - to create their first short documentary. The Flying Kites Founding Story tells the story of three college students, inspired by a summer volunteering program, who embarked on a mission to increase the quality of care to some of the world’s most at-risk children.
